Our mission in the Ben Eoin Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program is to initiate in our youth the development of a lifelong enjoyment of sailing and to foster a healthy respect for our environment, our physical assets and each other. We hope to do that by establishing a healthy, safe, challenging environment that emphasizes sportsmanship and respect for all involved.
This program is designed for new and returning sailors aged 8-16 . Our Learn to Sail Program is based on the successful Sail Canada Cansail Standards and is designed and delivered utilizing the technical resources, materials and national standards of the Sail Canada. Students in this program will work on their Cansail Levels 1- 4 utilizing Optimist, Byte, Laser and 420 sailboats.

This program is designed for new and returning sailors aged 5 - 8. The Wet Feet experience is designed to help young sailors feel comfortable on the water, and to experience the sport of sailing in the most positive way utilizing a combination of both on and off the water activities suitable for this age. The focus will be on having fun while at the same time learning water safety, skill development and nurturing a healthy respect for the environment and each other.
